former Pony Soldier kit wholly owned and produced by The Lost Battalion
Pierre de Contrecoeur was the French officer who captured the Colonial fort at the forks of the Ohio (Pittsburgh), being built by Cpt. William Trent. He and his men destroyed the small fort and built a larger more imposing structure and called it Fort Duquesne. A year later he would call on the Shawnees, Mingos and Delawares and give Charles de Langlade, the French-Indian half breed, the leadership of the Native Americans. The result was the defeat of General Braddock in the Battle of the Monhongahela.
Kit is composed of resin parts which require assembly and painting
